Vestavia Girl Scouts can be found transforming their schools through anti-bullying and literacy programs as well as serving the community through Helping Hands in the Hills, community gardens, sensory playgrounds and so much more. Whether it is a Take Action project or a Bronze, Silver or Gold Award, the Girl Scout program teaches girls how to identify a need and act on finding a solution.
Our troops are just as unique as our girls! With meetings after school or on the weekends, some Girl Scouts meet every other week while others meet once a month. With over 400 girls in 39 troops, we are sure to have a troop that fits your schedule!
Any girl in grades K-12 can join the fun at Vestavia Girl Scouts. Whether you want to be part of a troop, sign up for exciting series or events, explore the outdoors or travel the world, each age level has something for you.
Girl Scouts is a volunteer organization, and we need great volunteer leadership teams in every troop! However your team divides meetings, field trips, financial responsibilities is up to you. Girl Scouts turn ordinary days into days you’ll remember all your life. It’s everything you never expected. Take the chance and share this adventure with your daughter. Find out more about the leadership team here.
Please contact us to find out about troops in your school, church or to start one that fits your schedule!
We would also love to hear if there is a service need in our community that we could meet.
